What happens on the call

Thirty minutes, with no preparation. Carsten takes it, or Ilyes when the question needs deeper technical detail.

We use the call to hear the situation first: what's going on, what you've tried already, and what you want to end up with. Then we give you an honest first impression of whether we could support you. If we could, we'll say roughly what that would look like.

We'll tell you whether the work is worth doing, roughly how large it is, what kind of build fits, and whether we're the right team. If it should be an existing tool or an internal hire instead, we'll say so.

We take two clients at a time. Ask on the call what's open.

If we're full when you call, we'll tell you a date rather than taking the work and finding out in month two. If your problem isn't one we're good at, we'll say that too, and we'll usually know which kind of person you should be talking to instead.
